Backgrounds vs foreground assets
A VTuber background is the full room image. It usually fills a 16:9 OBS browser or image source, often at 1920 x 1080.
A foreground asset is a transparent decoration layer. Think desk props, plants, windows, microphones, plushies, shelves, lights, or frames. These are usually PNG-style assets layered above the background and below your model.

Choosing assets for OBS
Start with one full background, then add one or two transparent foreground layers. Keep enough open space for your model, chat, alerts, and schedule. If the scene feels crowded, remove props before adding more.
